Zurich is brought alive with its numerous markets on offer every week:
Markets
The flower and vegetable markets are numerous in Zurich, That of Bürkiplatz (Bürkiplatz station) takes place on Tuesdays and Fridays from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m.; that of Helvetiaplatz (Helvetiaplatz station) on Tuesdays and Fridays from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m. ; that of the Limmat quay (Rathaus station) on Saturdays from 6 a.m. until midday, that of Lindenplatz (Lindenplatz station) on Wednesdays from 6 a.m. until 11 a.m. and on Saturdays from 6 a.m. until midday.
Flea markets
Zurich has three flea markets on offer : at the Bürkiplatz (Bürkiplatz station) on Saturdays from May to October, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., at Kanzleistrasse 56 (Helvetiaplatz station) on Saturdays from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. and the Mercato market, Gke Giessereistrasse 18 (Rörrlibuckstrasse station) on Saturdays from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
