The Fotomuseum of Winterthur is absolutely unique to its kind an dis internationally recognised for its exhibitions and its research. The place is particularly nice : a former factory renovated in a very original fashion. Winterthur is only a short train journey of around 20 minutes away from Zurich!

Kunsthalle

The Kunsthalle of Zurich exhibits works of international contemporary artists who are not necessarily known of yet. It therefore allows for an outlook oon what is happening within the most current international creative circles. It is located in the Löwenbrau district, close to the museum of contemporary art and numerous art galleries. The Migros Museum of Contemporary Art also schedules exhibitions of contemporary creations which are always very cutting edge.

Kunsthaus

The Kunsthaus of Zurich has an impressive collection of works by world-renowned painters and sculptors such as Munch, Van Gogh, Picasso and the expressionists. Monet and Chagall are also very well-represented. The most modern movements are also present, through the works of Beuys, Bacon, Rothko, Merz and Baselitz. The museum is located close to the Kunsthaus station!

The Museum für Gestaltung of Zurich is a veritable temple for those who are passionate about the subject. It deals with design, architecture, visual communication, photography, etc. and confronts people with modern trends by categorising the developments in their different spheres. It is found only a stone’s throw away from the Museum für Gestaltung station.
