Winter
The winter is quite cold and there is frequent snow in Zurich. Thanks to a highly developed public transport system, it is quick and easy to get to the surrounding ski resorts. The winter days often give a magical decor to the city, with the sinking sun, white and silvery light reflected on the lake with the mountains in the background, which give colour to the sky at the start of the evening.
